ISAN Transitory Registration Agency
The ISAN Transitory Registration Agency (ISAN TR Agency) is operated by ISAN International Agency (ISAN-IA) to provide ISAN services in countries without a designated local Registration Agency. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, ISAN TR Agency is a non-profit association.
Together, ISAN-IA and ISAN TR Agency support the global audiovisual industry with the following essential identification services:
ISAN Registration Service
Register your audiovisual content with ISAN and obtain a unique and universal standard identifier with a barcode and a certificate of registration recognised by numerous founding organisations.
To register a work or project with ISAN, applicants must first create an account with the ISAN TR Agency. Upon registration, users receive credentials to search the system and assign ISAN identifiers online as needed.

Access the ISAN Registry directly through our web interface. This tool allows you to quickly verify if a work has already been registered by searching key metadata such as title and director. It is the ideal solution for occasional checks and single verifications of works.

Catalogue Matching Service
Go beyond simple searches with our intelligent matching service. Using advanced deduplication algorithms, it analyzes metadata to pinpoint the correct ISAN.
Designed to process large audiovisual catalogues and reduce manual review, this service is specifically adapted to enrich VoD catalogs with ISANs for Swiss FSO compliance. Additionally, a highly recommended match review service is available to ensure data integrity.
