Paris, France, January 5th 2017 - ISAN registration made mandatory for all projects and works supported by the CNC as of January 1st, 2017. The Centre National du Cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC) and Agence Française ISAN (the French ISAN Registration Agency), join their efforts to spread the good practice of audiovisual works and versions registration in France. Paris, France, June 2016 - INA joined the Board of Directors of Agence Française ISAN. After having joined the French ISAN Registration Agency “Agence Française ISAN” at the beginning of 2016, INA has officially joined the Board of Directors of the French ISAN agency at its meeting of May 26, 2016. INA is the French cultural public company responsible for the preservation, the valorization and transmission of the French audiovisual heritage. INA is interested for a long time in ISAN to help identify and structure its broad catalogue of cinematographic and audiovisual works. London, UK, 20 November 2014 - UK AV Registration Agency launches The founders of ISAN UK (International Standard Audiovisual Number) and the Entertainment ID Registry (EIDR) are collaborating on a new joint ID service to the film and television industry in the UK. Under the terms of the collaboration, EIDR and ISAN UK will form the UK AV Registration Agency and expand its mission to deliver both EIDR IDs and ISANs, effectively becoming a ‘one-stop shop’ for UK organisations that wish to identify uniquely their audiovisual content to support both rights management applications and the automated digital distribution workflows.

Busan, October 6th 2014 (Korea) - KOFIC Industry Forum ISAN will be introduced to the Korean and Asian audiovisual industry in a major event of the KOFIC Industry Forum held during the Asian Film Festival. In an official ceremony, KOFIC will be appointed for operating the ISAN registration agency for Korea. ISAN will then be presented to representatives of the industry at the KOFIC Industry Forum Seminar “Strategies for Long-term Storage and Preservation of Digital Film Material”. Participants of the forum are welcomed to join the ISAN events.
